My Hopes For This New Era

1. the partisanship will end….healthy, productive debate only please…

2. the Coulters, Hannitys, and Limbaughs will become a thing of the past…who needs all this hate and bigotry anymore?….do they really add anything to the national debate?

3. medical care for all…doctors controlling patient care….nobody in the USA should die needlessly…

4. stem cell research promoted by the government….it’s a shame that other countries are far ahead of us on this….

5. marriage equality for gays….also that ALL GAY PEOPLE WILL COME FLYING OUT OF THE CLOSET….wouldn’t that shock everyone?

6. that religious fanatics will go underground out of shame never to be seen again…..

7. a cure or better treatment for A.I.D.S…….

8. that Obama’s administration will get the middle east on the road to peace…..

9. that America will once again be the beacon it once was before the Bush era….

10. on a personal note….that I’ll continue to heal and become a better person….

I urge everyone to educate themselves on the history of this conflict, the unbiased history.  one that doesn’t sugar coat the atrocities committed against the Palestinians…..the way the British and Israeli forces burned them out of  their homes and created millions of refuges……learn how and why Israel was created…out of guilt…learn how this state was forced on the middle east begning this never ending conflict which spawned terrorism as we know it…….when will the world wake up…

Bush Outlaws All War Protest In United States

In one of his most chilling moves to date against his own citizens, the American War Leader has issued a sweeping order this week outlawing all forms of protest against the Iraq war. 

President Bush enacted into US law an ‘Executive Order’ on July 17th titled “Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq”, http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/07/20070717-3.html and which says: 

”By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, as amended (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.)(IEEPA), the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.)(NEA), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, 

I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, find that, due to the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States posed by acts of violence threatening the peace and stability of Iraq and undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq and to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people, it is in the interests of the United States to take additional steps with respect to the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13303 of May 22, 2003, and expanded in Executive Order 13315 of August 28, 2003, and relied upon for additional steps taken in Executive Order 13350 of July 29, 2004, and Executive Order 13364 of November 29, 2004.”

New Terror Plot

here in the nyc area….blow up jfk airport jet fuel line…..foiled by police, not war….just like all the others….

he spoke today about things…….once again he got what he wanted in the iraq spending bill because the dems can’t over ride his  never ending veto…..and the gop can’t get their collective lips off hs ass long enough to see that the war has been lost for some time now..

he cares about the troops…yeah right…i think he doesn’t even believe himself anymore…he just will NOT say he was wrong, plain and simple….so more sons and daughters will die because of his pride…..he brought the terrorists to iraq and now says we can’t leave because they’re there….unbelievible…..this administration grasps at straws to find any justification to why we need to stay and the 28% shakes their head….”yes my wonderous leader, yes”….and the other 72% watch “american idol” and “dancing with the stars”….pitiful…

then the pundents blame the democrats, WHAT?…..their majority is not large enough to pass legislation that would hold him accountable…they should know this, you think?….it’s still the republicans that unless they are up for re-election and need the independent vote won’t hold him accountable…..

george is the worst, most ignorant, assinine president in our history……i hope he doesn’t destroy us in the time he has left…
